Portions for 1 person:
1 slice of veal liver
1/2 sweet potato
8 stripes of sushi ginger
1 red apple
20g raisins "Seedless Thomson"
Allspice
Cinnamon
Ginger
4 tsp of brown sugar
Boil water in a steamer. First, put the sweet potato sliced in 1/4 inch pieces in the steamer, then the sushi ginger, the apple cut in small cubes and the raisins. Sprinkle with cinnamon, ginger and brown sugar.
Steam for 30mn.
This recipe can also be done in a closed casserole (glass or silicone rubber). In this case, pour the juice of a pressed orange in the casserole, put the raisins before the apple and cook at 180°C during 40mn. Beware, cooking times may depend on casserole material.
A few minutes before finishing cooking the vegetables, fry the liver sprinkled with all-spices.
